Q1. How often should I vacuum my carpet? Answer: Vacuum your carpet regularly. Daily preferably (if you feel so inclined). Q2. How do I remove Red Wine or White Wine stains? Answer: Do not rub the stain, use lots of absorbant material to soak up the stain - just dab the area not rub. Q3. What should I do if I spill something on my carpet? Answer: Never rub a stain, always blot to absorb the spillage Q4. How can I get rid of food stains on my carpet? Answer: Most food stains can be removed with *’shaving cream’, just spray the affected area (resist the temptation to rub it in), leave for 15 minutes then rinse with a vinegar and water solution. *An alternative to ‘shaving cream’ is ‘Brake Cleaner’ (it contains the same chemical that dry cleaners use), just dab a little on a cloth and gently blot the stain.  Rinse with soap and water. Q5. How can I remove chewing gum from my carpet? Answer: Gum can be removed by freezing it with ice cubes then chipping it off with the blunt side of a knife Freeze wax then chip off what you can with a blunt knife. How do I prolong the life of my carpet? Answer: To prolong the life of your carpet investment, take your shoes off at the front door.  Walk on your new carpet in socks or wear slippers.
